A final presentation for the recommended improvements to the 19-21 Maple Street property will be held during the Select Board meeting on April 26.
The Town of Acton is considering improvements to the 19-21 Maple Street property and has engaged a consulting team to support this effort. Using community feedback gathered through the October 2020 Online Survey and the November 2020 Public Forum, the Town developed two potential site concepts, which were presented to the public in February 2021. Attendees of the February 2021 Public Forum weighed in on the proposed designs. The Select Board will be considering the preferred site concept and refined a design that features:
· Additional car and bicycle parking
· Improved pickup and drop-off and site circulation
· A new access point to the station and improved pedestrian connections
· Re-use of existing buildings
· Improved landscaping and plantings
A final presentation of recommendations for the site will take place on April 26th. This will be an opportunity to review the final site concept and offer feedback. Please join us on April 26th!
